Your Questions Answered
How is your beef raised and finished?
Our Black Angus/Hereford cattle are grass-fed and grain-finished. They spend their lives on open pastures grazing natural forage and are finished on a high-quality grain diet for the final few months. This process ensures the health benefits of pasture-raising with the superior marbling and tenderness of grain-finishing.
How do I pay for my order?
Since we sell by the pound, your final total is calculated once we weigh your specific cuts. After you submit our Google Order Form, we will send you an invoice via Venmo, Zelle, or cash/check at the time of pickup.
Where do I pick up my order?
Pickups are at Carolyn Jane Farm. Once your order is confirmed, we will provide the exact address and coordinate a time that works for you.
Do you deliver?
Yes! We offer local delivery within a 30-mile radius of the farm. A small delivery fee may apply depending on your location—details are listed in our order form.
· What is the difference between buying “by the cut” vs. “bulk”?
By the Cut: Perfect for smaller households or specific meals. You can buy individual steaks, roasts, or pounds of ground beef.
Bulk: We occasionally offer quarters, halves, or whole animals. This is the most cost-effective way to fill a freezer. If you are interested in bulk, please contact us to get on our waiting list.
How are your eggs and pork raised?
Our hens roam and forage, producing eggs with deep orange yolks and firm whites. Our pork is raised with plenty of space and high-quality feed, resulting in flavorful, farm-fresh meat that is worlds apart from the grocery store.
