Our Roots

Our connection to this land began in 2011, when our parents, Carolyn and Sam, purchased what was then known as Single Tree Farm from the Burrough family. At the time, it was a quiet hobby farm with rolling hayfields and a single milking cow.

For years, the farm served as a dedicated hay source for our family’s cattle operation, with Todd carefully managing the fields and continuing its history of producing high-quality forage.

Over time, that foundation allowed us to grow and evolve.

Today, we honor those roots while expanding the farm’s purpose.

The New Chapter

In 2023, we officially established Carolyn Jane Farm, named in honor of our mother, as a way to share what we were already raising for our own table with the broader community.

What began with premium Black Angus and Hereford cattle soon expanded. After experiencing the exceptional flavor and quality firsthand, we added pigs and chickens to ensure every protein raised on our farm meets our family’s standards.

Our approach is simple:

  • Animals are raised outdoors with space to move and forage

  • Nutrition is carefully managed to balance quality and flavor

  • Every step, from pasture to processing, is handled with intention

Our mission is to provide wholesome, farm-raised meat and eggs with complete transparency. Our cattle are grass-fed and grain-finished, creating the ideal balance between a natural lifestyle and the rich, marbled flavor many families expect.

We understand that every household shops differently, which is why we do not require bulk-only purchases.
